From stress to serenity: find your own personal way to beat stresss

One of the pioneering researchers into stress, Dr Hans Seyle*, said a striking thing: “It’s not stress which kills us, it is our reaction to it.” We can change our reaction to stress, often far more, and far more easily, than we realise. This self-help workshop, From Stress to Serenity, will help you to develop the ways of resolving stress which work best for you.

There is in addition a short information seminar, Be Smarter than Stress, which presents the basic facts about stress management plus a wide variety of different and interesting stress management techniques. From Stress to Serenity contains little information – it’s a hands-on experiential personal development workshop to help you discover your own ways of beating stress.

The Stress to Serenity experiential workshop comes in two forms: a short, one-session workshop or the full-length course meeting at weekly intervals for six or eight weeks. As stated, in addition to that is Be Smarter than Stress, a short information-only presentation on different and varied ways of dealing with stress. Normally, much of the information in Be Smarter than Stress will also be presented during the full-length version of Stress to Serenity.
